I was at Aberdeen University for 5 years and used this book shop all the time. Lots of the Uni text books end up there so if you're a student check it out before paying stupid prices elsewhere. Textbooks aside though it's one of those bookshops where the shelves are just ordered enough to find what you're looking for if you need it but just untidy enough to spend hours searching through hidden piles if that's your thing (it's mine). Not charity shop prices (old paperbacks are between £1 and £3) but then it's not a charity shop so there you go. All sorts for all tastes. I love the place.
