If your company is already listed on Bizwiki you can add additional information to the details in the existing record. The information should be kept factual and free from any sales pitches, hype or superlatives. Bizwiki users want to know:

Bizwiki UK aims to become the largest, most comprehensive directory of British businesses on the Web. This means that we may already have your company's details. If we do you can claim it.

Claiming a business enables you to add additional information such a Customer Support and Sales telephone numbers, product specific website addresses, associations you belong to, awards you have won, lists of services and products you offer, opening hours, and other details that Bizwiki users may find helpful.

Any registered Bizwiki user can add this type of information to any record but if you claim your business your additions will be published without having to wait for an editor's approval. Further, you become the editor for your company's record which means that you can monitor and, if necessary, use a simple "revert" option to remove any incorrect changes made by others.

This does not include reviews which, as an individual's own opinion, are separate from the information and not subject to review or amendment except by the author of the review or by an editor in cases where a review breaches our Guidelines.

Nothing sells like word of mouth advertising. Bizwiki allows registered users to post reviews, separate from the Business information. Don't just wait for someone to review your company, be proactive and ask happy customers to write a review about what they like most about your company, why they buy from you or use your services. All they have to do it register and review.

If you have a website you can link it to your Bizwiki Company page - this makes it easy for satisfied customers to post favourable reviews. At the bottom of your Bizwiki company page there is a bit of link code which can simply be copied and pasted into your website.
