So its finally happened, I have reached the time when I wish there was a 6th star on this website that I could award. If there was, The Royals would have it proudly displayed above this review.

They present a wide range of dishes, but personally I find it hard to get past the starter stage; they may in fact be the creators of the world's best samosas. Its hard to imagine such brilliance in cuisine wrapped into those small triangles, but they are so good that I will sometimes order samosas as a starter followed by a Jalfrezi or similar curry with a side order of 4 samosas to dip.

Its not the way its supposed to be served, but skip the rice and the naan and enjoy my own contribution to fusion cuisine. Perhaps centuries from now I will be remembered for this dish, and if so, I want the footnote in the Encyclopedia to read that it was here, at The Royals, that I invented it.
