Quoted from the Galletto website: "Leucio Sagnella is the owner of Galletto. He gained the Chef de Cuisine - Teaching Qualification in his native Italy and earned one of the highest course marks ever achieved. He quickly went on to become Sous Chef/Head Chef in several high-profile restaurants and hotels in Italy, Germany, England and Ireland.
In the early 90's Leucio returned to Italy where for the next five years he worked as General Manager for a range of Italian Hotels. This included work as Head Chef/Organiser for a major International Charity Concert, with catering responsibility for the Prime Minister, high ranking officials, media stars and international musicians.
After returning to England in 1996, Leucio opened Galletto, which he would proudly like to welcome you to.".

The perfect place for a romantic meal! This family run restaurant is brimming with character. There is a good selection of fine wines and spirits along with traditional Italian drinks. The menu is varied and daily specials are offered.
The waiters are very friendly and eager to give recommendations. Also, the food presentation is lovely and it tastes superb. The staff take their time bringing out the courses so you can relax and enjoy each one.
Deserts are presented on a trolley and are all homemade and delicious! You can even ask to sample a little of each. Nothing seems like too much trouble for the staff and they will happily try to accommodate any special requirements you may have. They even present a rose to all the ladies before they leave.
All in all a great restaurant that is perfect for a special occasion.
