I began my career in web design in 1997 following the successful completion of a BA (hons) Electronic Media Design degree.
I initially worked for a number of digital agencies before joining BSkyB in 2000 where my role progressed to the position of Web Design Manager.
In 2007 I joined TAMBA Internet in Birmingham as Creative Director before starting up as an independent freelance designer.

I'm Darren Langley, an independent Internet professional, specialising in web design, working nationally from Birmingham, UK.

With over 14 years experience in the Internet industry I was previously employed by BSkyB for eight years where I spent more than two years in the role of Web Design Manager and was previously engaged as Creative Director for a Midlands-based digital agency. In these roles I have worked on and managed award-winning projects for a range of clients from local businesses to multi-national corporations.
In my role as a full-time freelance digital designer I regularly work with small and medium-sized businesses to realize their online ambitions and with multi-national corporations and marketing, design and digital agencies to assist and compliment their in-house teams.

My current clients includes freelance work for my previous employer BSkyB, as well as the world’s largest newspaper Metro International, US hard-drive maker Western Digital, The University of Birmingham and regional businesses including Longden Ltd., Cargo Marketing Services and Argentum Commercial Finance.
