Choochoos Day Nursery Whitstable is an independent provider, who understands the importance of consistently providing high quality care and education for all children from a secure, stimulating and welcoming base. Well resourced equipment in a rich and friendly accessible environment combined with Early Years Practitioners scaffolding learning raises outcomes for every individual. Children thrive when given opportunities to explore and independently develop through play experiences. High levels of well being and involvement raises a child’s self esteem and confidence and ‘deep level learning’ for every individual can then take place.

Choochoos Day Nursery currently provides care for children from birth to five years. The service is based in a once disused building on the coast bound side of Whitstable Railway Station. Two impressive Edwardian buildings originally used as an old ticket office, delivery shed and waiting room now form the provision. For the convenience of our clientele we operate between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, providing healthy meals and snacks for up to 71 children per day. The children in our care are able to experience unique opportunities to grow and develop as an individual independently. Children progress their next steps by learning through play as practitioners plan, observe, scaffold and support.
